High Performance Computing (HPC) and data analysis are extensively used by researchers, engineers and students to support discovery and innovation in the fields of science, engineering, humanities and medicine.
ISCD provides large-scale HPC resources for research purposes, available for use to all faculty and students. It also provides support and advice to HPC Resource Center users and research teams. Within the framework of a national convention, SME-ETI can access the resources and benefit from the expertise of the institute.
ISCD provides an organized IT service portfolio intended for researchers, engineers and students. This catalog contains information about services, prices and schedules, across all platforms and environments.
UPMC-SU has committed significant investment over the years to continuously develop HPC hardware, in addition to funding for support, running costs and training, to remain at the forefront of computational research. The vision is to achieve a Tier 3 (local institutional) capability. Such a facility would also ensure that ISCD’s researchers can make best use of Tier 2 regional and Tier 1 national facilities.
The Visualization centre serves as a central point for visual experiences and activities. It aims at providing the research community with expert consulting services in data analysis and visualization, and to build community knowledge-sharing in these areas.Funding sources
