    Funding

The institute is supported by a dozen partner institutions forming the cluster Sorbonne Universités, that provide a substantial part of funding. Other funding comes from several European, national and regional initiatives. Sponsorship provides opportunities to have access to a valuable resource that would be difficult to be accommodated by the core institutions.

The membership is open, primarily composed of scholars and researchers from the institutions at Sorbonne University. Industrial partnership is encouraged, with such partners becoming Affiliates of the Institute.

    Programs and agencies

From its beginning, the institute has been primarily funded by the French investment program (PIA/Programme Investissements d’Avenir) with additional support from other government agencies, academic sponsors and corporate partners. Hereafter is a list of the main grants ISCD has obtained.
